\nRN - Acute Care Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work part-time schedule with 2x12-hour shifts per week
\n• Rotational schedule covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
\n• New York State RN licensure required
\n• Minimum one year experience in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required
\n• Provide high quality compassionate care to patients and families in acute care medical surgical setting
\n• Develop specialized skills in cardiac care including telemetry monitoring
\n• Assess patient needs, develop care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team
\n• Provide direct patient care, evaluate progress, and coordinate care delivery
\n• Conduct patient and family education regarding self-care and lifestyle changes
\n• Apply nursing interventions including medication administration
\n• Maintain infection prevention strategies and required competencies
\n• Participate in rounds per protocol using necessary tools and equipment
\n• Document education provided and patient/family responses
