Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Elmhurst, NY

Job Type: Full-Time | 5 shifts per week (8 hours each)

Compensation: Up to $32/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital-based pharmacy team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have recent hospital pharmacy experience , hold an active CPhT certification , and be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, midnight shifts, and weekends. This role requires someone who is 100% committed and ready to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications within a hospital pharmacy setting
• Manage and maintain inventory of medications and supplies
• Accurately process medication orders and restock automated dispensing machines
• Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and state/federal regulations
• Assist in sterile and non-sterile compounding as required
• Provide excellent service and communication to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Active CPhT certification required
• Recent pharmacy experience required
• Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, and midnights)
• Weekend availability required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Spanish language skills preferred
• Must be reliable, professional, and ready to start ASAP

Schedule & Commitment:

• Full-time | 5 shifts per week (8 hours each)
• Flexible rotation of days, evenings, midnights, and weekends
