Part Time Elder Care Activity Aide

Evenings and Weekends!!

Activity Aide pay: $17.80-$19.25/ hr, + $1.25 / hr for weekends!

Join our Activity Team and help bring love, joy, and meaningful engagement to the lives of older adults in our retirement community. As an Activity Aide, you will support and lead a variety of creative, recreational, and therapeutic programs designed to enrich the daily lives of our residents.

We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys encouraging and uplifting older adults. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to foster self-expression through music, art, storytelling, games, and group social activities. You will help create moments of purpose, connection, and delight.

• Must have sincere interest in working with older, disabled, and handicapped adults.
• Must have an understanding of the physical, mental and psycho-social needs of older and handicapped adults.
• Must be tactful, courteous, patient, pleasant, and cheerful when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, staff and volunteers.
• Experience working with older adults is preferred
• Valid PA Driver’s License preferred.
• A High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must support the mission and values of Fairmount.
