Job Description

* Our law firm is seeking a motivated Family Law Attorney to join our growing team. This role involves representing clients in family law matters, including hearings, trials, and other court appearances. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable courtroom experience, work directly with clients, and grow within a supportive legal team.

*Responsibilities*

* Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and related forms.
* Conduct legal research and provide case analysis to determine the best course of action.
* Maintain organized case files to ensure accessibility for attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
* Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
* Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
* Provide sound legal advice and representation in both family law and criminal law matters.

*Qualifications*

* Licensed to practice law in Texas (Required).
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
* Criminal law or family law experience preferred but not required.
* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and support staff.
* Spanish language skills preferred but not required.

*Schedule*

* *Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM*
* *In-person only no hybrid or remote work*

*Relocation*

* Must be able to relocate to Pasadena, TX before starting work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
