An automotive parts manufacturer near the LaSalle, IL area is looking for an Entry Level Chemical Engineer. You will support the Lead Chemical Engineers. The ideal candidate would be someone looking to start their chemical engineering career within a manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
This position has the opportunity for overtime & quick advancement
Responsibilities:
Work with Lead Chemical Engineer to maintain equipment
Work with suppliers to troubleshoot issues
Conduct trial testing for new launch programs
Assist on kaizen activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
New graduates welcome
Experience with Microsoft Office - especially Microsoft Excel
. Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
