Job Summary

Our rapidly growing firm seeks a highly skilled Attorney to join our team of legal professionals. The successful candidate will exhibit a high degree of initiative, taking ownership of legal processes from inception to resolution, ensuring optimal client outcomes. The ideal applicant will possess expertise in tax law, business planning, and estate planning, with a strong focus on transactional and strategic advisory services. Given our firm's interdisciplinary approach, preference will be given to candidates with dual expertise in law and accounting, as this combination enables a more holistic approach to client needs, particularly in business structuring, tax strategy, and estate planning. This role requires substantial client interaction and strategic legal advising. Comprehensive training and support will be provided. This position necessitates service at both our Mesa headquarters and our satellite office in Scottsdale. The ideal candidate will be proficient in learning and utilizing new software systems and will thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Drafting & Review: Draft, analyze, and revise a broad range of legal documents, including business structuring agreements, estate plans, and tax-planning instruments, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.
  • Client Advisory & Representation: Provide sophisticated legal counsel on matters related to business transactions, estate planning, and tax optimization strategies.
  • Regulatory & Ethical Compliance: Maintain adherence to all applicable legal standards, statutes, and ethical requirements.
  • Case & Practice Management: Strategically manage case files, oversee documentation accuracy, and facilitate coordination between legal and administrative teams.
  • Client Engagement & Advocacy: Conduct consultations and represent clients across multiple locations, ensuring the highest standard of legal service.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
  • Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice law.
  • Demonstrated experience in tax law, business planning, and estate planning is strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking capabilities, enabling sound legal judgment.
  • Advanced proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Strong interpersonal and client-relations skills to foster trust and long-term engagement.

  • Background in advising high-net-worth individuals and business owners on tax and estate planning strategies.
  • Experience in preparing estate and gift tax returns

  • The position requires on-site presence at both the Mesa and Scottsdale locations.

Compensation & Benefits
