Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate new-operator orientation in FST facility and culture; MHE certification; and job training
• Ensure trainees can perform their duties safely, correctly, independently, and in compliance with all FST policies and procedures; prepare new operators to successfully achieve all quality and productivity expectations
• Prepare thorough daily reports on trainee progress and performance during the training period; reports include observations, concerns, and next-day plans
• Conduct 3-year and post-incident recertification evaluations
• Train new-to-equipment operators
• Collaborate in training material development; provide ad-hoc training
• Complete all supervisor-assigned training; actively participate in professional growth opportunities
• When not training, provide W4-level operations support where needed
• Comply with all defined business processes and utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST

Requirements:
• Live and consistently model FST traits of reliability, responsiveness, adaptability, innovation, passion, and investment
• Possess a positive attitude and patience; clear communication; ability to respond calmly under pressure; responsibility and heightened accountability that comes with a leadership role
• Safety and quality oriented
• Problem solving and conducting root-cause analyses especially as pertains to situations that arise during training
• Comfortable working with operators whose first language is not English
• Take ownership of the duty to communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers
• Have a demonstrated understanding of and adherence to FST warehouse operations' SOPs
• Certified and demonstrated skill and safety on all FST MHE (counterbalance, reach/double-reach truck, order picker, ride-on pallet jack)
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and do repetitive motions for extended periods of time; lift up to 50 lbs.; work at heights; work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• Attend bimonthly meetings (Wednesday 3-4PM)
• Able and willing to travel between FST warehouse facilities
• Willing to learn and follow processes as they vary between facilities and customers
