VeeAR Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Outpatient Surgery for a travel nursing job in Midland, Michigan.

Job Description:
This position has basic knowledge of operative procedures in order to assess and implement care for ambulatory surgery patients.

Responsibilities
(30%)* Regularly assesses patient’s/clients’ needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice.
(30%)* Provides direct patient resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc.
(20%)* Evaluates the effectiveness of the treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care.
(10%)* Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician-ordered care accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
(10%)* Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
Requirements:

2+ Years of experience - Required
Pre/Post Op Experience - Required
BLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA) - Required
PACU Training - Preferred
Epic Experience - Preferred
State License Requirements:

Michigan

VeeAR Health Job ID #60647. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
