DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist)

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing in all major laboratory areas, including Phlebotomy, Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Serology, and Microbiology .
• Accurately collect, label, and process specimens according to established procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Analyze test results, verify accuracy, and report findings promptly.
• Adhere to quality control and safety protocols in compliance with laboratory standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
• Participate in on-call rotation (1 on-call day per week ) and weekend coverage (1 weekend per month , as needed).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Schedule:

• Full-time position
• Includes 1 on-call day per week and 1 weekend per month as required.
