Job Details:

\n

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• 6-9 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule
\n• Must float within Zone 1 covering facilities within a 60-mile radius
\n• No home base facility - floating throughout assigned zone as needed
\n• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:1-2 depending on acuity, may flex up to 1:3
\n• 1:1 ratio for high acuity patients requiring CRRT, IABP, Impella, etc.
\n• Must have 2+ years of ICU experience (3+ years if first-time traveler)
\n• Epic experience preferred, especially for first-time travelers
\n• Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
\n• Expected to read and interpret own telemetry strips
\n• Must assist in troubleshooting and managing respiratory needs
\n• May float to other acuity levels including PCU/Stepdown and MS-Tele
\n• Schedule made by leadership for 6 weeks at a time with flexible scheduling expectations
\n• May be placed in holiday rotation
\n• Rare call or standby requirements for low census
\n• 1-2 days orientation with preceptor
\n• Any color scrubs allowed
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC
\n• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
\n• Must submit all time off requests prior to starting assignment

The facilities are equipped with advanced respiratory equipment including ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow devices, and provide specialized care for high-acuity patients requiring intensive monitoring and complex interventions.
