Role Summary:

We are seeking a Software Application Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the in-house code generation application for CARIAD’s automotive infotainment platform. This role is responsible for developing, deploying and optimizing the application workflow and infrastructure for code generation. You will define production ready build workflow for build, verification, deployment of the Agentic application. 

The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners to troubleshoot build issues, integrate automated testing, and ensure software quality—supported by clear, thorough technical documentation.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering


• 2+ years of experience in working with web-based application using LLM


• 2+ years of experience with Azue AI or GCP Vertex AI


• Proficient in Python, Typescript


• Hands-on experience with Docker, Qdrant, Streamlit, FastApi


• Good knowledge with different model evaluation tasks


• Experience building full-stack web application 


• Familiar with tools such as Co-pilot, Cursor, Arize Pheonix


• Experience with LangChain, Llamaindex

Compensation:

Salary range is dependent on factors such as geographical differentials, credentials or certifications, industry-based experience, qualification and training. In the city of Mountain View, CA, the salary range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00.
