As a Security Professional - Logistics Front Desk in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a logistics and distribution environment, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors, helping to create a welcoming and secure atmosphere. Your role will focus on managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing clear communication to all who enter the location. You will play a key part in helping to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a strong presence at the front desk and responding promptly to inquiries or concerns. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and delivery personnel at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence while following site-specific protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain detailed logs of visitor and employee check-ins and check-outs in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the logistics and distribution environment.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, contractors, and guests to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
• Assist with managing deliveries and coordinating with internal teams to facilitate smooth operations at the front desk.
• Support security-related procedures and emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
