Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time, contract opportunity is available for a Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy to provide virtual services to K-12 students in the Virginia Beach area. This role involves delivering bilingual speech therapy evaluations and interventions on an as-needed basis, typically conducting two to three evaluations per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions via telepractice for K-12 students.
  • Utilize bilingual (Spanish-English) skills to support students requiring services in Spanish.
  • Collaborate virtually with educational teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state licensure and school requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to ethical standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
  • Proficiency in Spanish language essential.
  • Experience with teletherapy and telespeech services preferred.
  • Previous work in school or educational settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage part-time caseload effectively.
