NDI Engineering is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the DoD sector. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead multi-disciplined DoD programs, with a focus on Navy engineering projects.

Looking for experience manager to lead a team of engineers, manage contracts and excel at employee and customer engagement. Desired candidate will have:

Requirements:

\n
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited College or University.
\n
• Must have five (5) years of program management experience supporting major project or programs including but not limited to the development, repairing, installation, modification, operation, testing and maintenance of Government systems.
\n
• Two (2) years’ experience performing Project Management duties and planning of Navy programs and projects is encouraged, but not required
\n
• Familiar with auxiliary systems including auxiliary machinery, fluid systems and auxiliary system controls, conventional steam propulsion and steam machinery and systems. In addition, other key areas are electrical distribution systems and associated equipment, propulsion machinery including gas turbines and diesels, and Main Reduction Gears (MRG) as well as shafting. The department also takes care of habitability, hull and deck machinery, weapons elevators and cranes.

• Proven and successful track record in aerospace/defense programs, with a strong preference for experience in Navy engineering programs.
\n
• Thoroughly understand all aspects of DoD contracts and effectively manage program execution within contract parameters.
\n
• Operate effectively within Navy policies and processes, navigating financial, staffing, and contracting systems.
\n
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges effectively.
\n
• Interface professionally with customers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
\n
• Lead and collaborate with Integrated Product Teams to ensure project success.
\n
• Manage integrated master schedules, conduct critical path analysis, and oversee labor loading.
\n
• Utilize program management tools such as Earned Value Management and Analysis of Project Cost Reports.
\n
• Plan, monitor, and control projects to ensure delivery of a quality product on time and within budget.
\n
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with strong presentation skills.
\n
• Foster positive relationships with co-workers and staff at all levels, while providing effective leadership and mentorship.
