All Classical Radio in Portland is seeking a dynamic President and Chief Executive Officer with the vision and skill set to enhance and maintain All Classical as a leader in the arts community and the public broadcasting industry. As CEO, youll guide and support our senior leadership team, helping to set the tone for performance and weighing in on key hiring decisions. You will play a central role in shaping the organizations future. Youll work closely with community leaders and business partners to strengthen support for our mission, while also guiding internal operations through thoughtful staffing decisions and strategic planning.
Your leadership will be key in evaluating long-term plans, new initiatives, and regulatory changes, always ensuring that the organization is prepared and positioned for success. Youll serve as a trusted partner to both the Board and staff, helping to solve challenges with practical, effective solutions. You will also guide efforts to support the continued development and distribution of the networks (All Classical Radio and the International Childrens Arts Network) award-winning, 98% locally produced arts programming.
Externally, youll represent All Classical in professional associations such as Public Radio International, NPR, NAB, and the Oregon Association of Broadcasters, and act as a visible and responsible ambassador in the community. Internally, youll provide oversight on financial decisions, matters requiring legal counsel, and the negotiation and implementation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Fundraising will be an important part of your role. Youll help design and carry out development initiatives that expand support for our mission, ensuring All Classicals programs and services continue to be shared with the broadest possible audience. Through it all, youll model positive, mission-driven leadership, representing All Classical with integrity and helping to consistently present the organization in the strongest possible light.
Success in this role calls for bold leadership, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills. You bring business acumen, an entrepreneurial attitude, sound financial judgment, and a talent for problem-solving and decision-making. Youre committed to developing people, driving results, and communicating effectively in every situation. Experience with fundraising and marketing principles is also critical, as is the ability to keep All Classicals mission at the center of your work.

Portland and Portland-Metro Area. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
While most of your work will be at a desk, there are moments where youll need to pitch in with everyday tasksthings like lifting up to 2530 lbs., reaching for files, or helping out with basic office duties. Strong communication, both written and spoken, is a must since youll be connecting with people across the organization and beyond.
This is a full-time role. Some evenings, weekends, or longer days will come up, and occasional travel will be required, given the nature of the job.

The expected salary range for this role is $250,000 -275,000 annually. This range reflects considerations for experience, location, and other market factors. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, and location. All Classical Radio benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, and generous PTO.
