Job Title: Packaging Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a packaging operator, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our production processes. This position involves hands-on activities related to product handling, inspection, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack finished product boxes onto pallets.
• Inspect products and reject any damaged items.
• Unjam packing machines to ensure smooth operation.
• Clean and maintain the maintenance area, including sweeping and sanitation tasks.
• Conduct finished product counts accurately.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and cleanroom environments.
• Ability to perform general labor and packaging tasks.
• Capability to lift 20+ pounds.
• Proficiency in maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Inventory management experience is advantageous.

Work Environment

Monday through Friday. Adherence to GMP standards is required, including wearing hair nets, beard nets, and nonslip or hard-toed shoes. Note that no jewelry or piercings are permitted on the production floor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stoughton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
