Job Description
RCM Health Care is seeking an OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST to provide therapy services to students at their school location(s) in Grosse Pointe, MI, 2 days per week, immediate start until March 2026. IN PERSON ONLY. Flexible schedule. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLILITIES: Others duties may be assigned
- Interpret physician orders related to professional area of responsibility
- Assess fine motor skills of students
- Develop, implement, monitor and modify treatment plans based on physician orders and assessment of student as appropriate
- Complete IEP, MET, Medicaid and treatment forms/reports
- Maintain treatment/progress notes and Medicaid documentation per professional standards
- Train Paraprofessionals on various student plans
- Regular and predictable attendance
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - Registered Occupational Therapist – State of Michigan
- Michigan Driver’s License
- Pediatric experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES - Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must have good written and oral language ability
- Good interpersonal skills with children and adults

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to move about the classroom, building, etc. as needed. This person must be able to communicate with students, parents, other teachers and administrators and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee may need to travel to different work locations.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is frequently required to interact with students, staff and occasionally with the public. The employee is directly responsible for the safety and well-being of students.

COMPENSATION: - $55-$60/hour - based on experience
