Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guests, particularly within a hotel environment. Previous experience in laundry services or hotel operations is preferred but not required.

WAGE: $15-$18/hr DOE

DUTIES

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to ensure timely processing of laundry items.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring items are treated with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Inspect all items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and uniforms.
• Follow all company policies regarding health and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment used in laundry operations.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• Hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
