We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of infant and toddler-aged children. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational activities, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the overall well-being of each child.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of infants and young toddlers.
* Create lesson plans that are individualized for each child, at their skill level.
* Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, ensuring a positive learning environment.
* Provide individualized support for children with special educational needs through early intervention techniques.
* Foster communication skills by encouraging verbal expression and active participation in group activities.
* Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes child welfare and encourages exploration.
* Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns related to their development.
* Conduct assessments and standardized testing as necessary to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
* Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
*Skills*
* Strong experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
* Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
* Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and behavior management strategies.
* Experience with special education practices and early intervention methods is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Familiarity with the High Scope methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
