We are looking for a Junior Mixer Mechanic with great work ethic and friendly attitude to join our team!

Job Description:

Perform inspections, diagnostics and repairs for heavy equipment fleet, under the direction of senior mechanic.

Responsibilities:

• Complete repair orders
• Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and Company regulations
• Wear all PPE (approved hard hat, vest, safety glasses, gloves, long pants, safety toed boots)
• Coordinates with skilled/assigned supervisor for the purpose of completing projects and work orders safe and efficiently.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Perform routine brake inspections/adjustments on commercial vehicles following Federal DOT requirements
• Troubleshoot and repairs hydraulic systems, electronics, and other components of a concrete mixer truck
• Removes components for repair or replacement
• Perform quality inspections
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic (preferred)
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• High school diploma (preferred)
• Bilingual is a plus
• Be able to read, write, and speak English
• Diesel Knowledge
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Pre-employment Drug Test required

• Ability to thrive in a tight space environment
• Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors
• Ability to work long hours
• Must wear protective equipment while at locations
• Heavy work: must regularly lift and/or move up to 60lbs
• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
