Build your own CPA firm without starting from scratch. Sandbox Holdings, Inc. is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Certified Public Accountant to co-found a specialized accounting firm focused on contractors and home service businesses. Youll own 51% of the firm from day one, with a built-in book of business and operational backing from a high-growth platform.

Sandbox Holdings is the parent company behind a portfolio of 9 operating companies that serve residential and commercial construction services. With over $20 million under management, Sandbox delivers back-office services (marketing, HR, IT, finance, insurance, etc.) that allow contractors to focus on doing great work while we handle the rest.

Were building a vertically integrated ecosystem that supports every stage of a contractors growth. Sandbox is acquiring and helping our companies scale toward $100 million+ in managed business, the time is right to establish a dedicated CPA firm to serve both our internal companies and future Sandbox members.

Your Role: Strategic CPA & Fractional/Consulting CFO

As Founding Partner, you wont just do tax prepyoull be a key strategic leader in Sandboxs growth story. Responsibilities include:

• Tax Preparation & Compliance: Lead and oversee tax filings for Sandboxs operating companies
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with founders and general managers on tax strategy, multi-entity structure, and long-term planning
• Operational Finance: Provide fractional CFO support to high-growth businesses, helping them understand cost drivers, cash flow, and margins
• M&A and Structuring: Advise on acquisitions, entity structuring, and integration planning across the portfolio
• Firm Development: Build the CPA firms systems, staff, and client service model to scale with demand

What We\'re Looking For

• Licensed CPA (California) with 510+ years experience
• Strong background in corporate tax, financial strategy, and multi-entity structures
• Bonus points for experience in:
• Construction or service-based businesses
  • M&A or acquisition advisory
  • Partnership tax or entity restructuring
• Ability to lead, mentor, and build a firm around your vision
• Entrepreneurial mindsetthis is your firm to run

Ownership & Compliance Structure

• This new CPA firm will be formed as a California Professional Corporation (PC) or LLP
• You will hold 51% ownership and full control of professional services
• Sandbox Holdings, Inc. will own 49% as a non-licensed strategic partner and will be billed as a client for services. This ensures full compliance with California Board of Accountancy rules while enabling seamless support to the Sandbox ecosystem
• Youll also serve a growing pool of prospective Sandbox clientscontractors actively entering our onboarding pipeline
