Position Overview:
Minnieola Healthcare is seeking a diligent and dedicated individual to join our kitchen team as a Dietary Aid. The successful candidate will work alongside Dietitians and Dietary Manager to help prepare food for residents and patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of food items for serving meals including beverages, salads, sandwiches, and desserts.
Assist the Cook with hot food preparation
Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
Follow sanitation and safety procedures on an ongoing basis for all kitchen equipment.
Perform cleaning duties as per cleaning schedule and job routines.
Serves meals as per therapeutic guidelines.
Perform other duties as directed by the Manager of Support Services or Cook.
Qualifications:
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as opportunities arise.
