Velecor is seeking a full-time Data Quality Analyst for an end client requirement with the following skills & experience:

Position Notes: This is not an entry-level position.

Technical Requirements: We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in business analysis, software development, business intelligence or database management with a focus on data management and data quality.

Position requirements include:

• Acting as the Subject Matter Expert for data management and data quality within the CRM system
• Assisting in the development of a Strategic Roadmap for the CRM System
• Understanding business strategy, and provide recommendations for data and data quality management
• Taking ownership of assigned items to drive resolution
• Communicating impacts of data and data quality efforts to project deliverables and CRM system functionality to the CRM System Manager
• Working with CRM business owners to ensure data policies are established and followed
• Building and maintain daily, weekly and monthly data integrity checks
• Identifying areas of concern and work with departments to resolve or mitigate data and data quality issues
• Participating in project planning sessions with team members to analyze requirements and make recommendations related to data management and data quality
• Assisting in project validation and testing
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Up to 10% travel required

Nice to have skills include:

• Blackbaud
• SQL experience
• Address cleansing and correction
• An ETL tool for moving data

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experienced (3-5 years) business analysis, software development, business intelligence or database management with a focus on data management and data quality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels in a manner that is understandable to business units
• Understanding of policies and procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work through complex technical situations with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Action oriented individual who has strong decision making skills, self-motivated owner of multiple tasks and accountable to deliverables
• Must be able to achieve goals with minimal supervision or direction
• A thorough understanding of the Internet, Web Navigation, Windows Operating System, Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, CRM systems and other applications as required
• Display professionalism and emotional intelligence across all settings
• Quick learner, adaptable to new situations and challenges
• Solve problems quickly and effectively while performing root cause analysis
• Experience with database analysis tools
• Experience with CRM data quality preferred
