*Full-Time Criminal Defense Attorney – Sacramento Area*

An established and reputable *criminal defense law firm* is currently seeking *one (1) full-time attorney* to join our team in the *Sacramento area and surrounding counties*.

We handle a broad range of criminal cases, from misdemeanors to serious felonies. As a member of our team, you will be *assigned entire cases* with support from the firm. You will also be expected to *cover specific cases independently*, including court appearances, motions, negotiations, and trials.

*Position Requirements:*

* Must have *felony trial experience*
* Must have *substantial experience* handling criminal defense matters
* Ability to manage a case from *initial appearance through trial and disposition*
* Strong courtroom presence, professionalism, and client communication skills
* Licensed and in good standing with the *California State Bar*

*Responsibilities:*

* Handle a variety of criminal cases (misdemeanors to serious felonies)
* Conduct legal research, draft motions, negotiate plea deals
* Appear in court regularly throughout Sacramento and nearby counties
* Collaborate with the firm's legal and administrative staff
