We are looking for a meticulous HR Specialist to join our team in Rochester, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with credentialing processes and maintaining accurate records for healthcare professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within the healthcare industry, where precision and adherence to standards are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee credentialing processes to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

• Maintain and update credentialing databases, including CAQH profiles and other platforms.

• Review and verify documentation, licenses, and certifications for accuracy and validity.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address credentialing-related inquiries.

• Conduct audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Prepare reports and maintain detailed records to support compliance efforts.

• Utilize tools such as Adobe Acrobat, CRM systems, and EHR platforms for efficient documentation management.

• Ensure adherence to state and federal guidelines in all credentialing activities.

• Monitor deadlines for renewals and proactively follow up with healthcare professionals.

• Stay informed about industry standards and best practices to enhance credentialing processes.

• Proven experience in credentialing within the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat, CRM systems, and EHR platforms.
• Familiarity with CAQH and other credentialing databases.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements and auditing processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to credentialing.
