About Us:
Energy One America is a leading provider of commercial construction services, specializing in air barrier systems, spray foam insulation, and waterproofing solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for air barrier, spray foam insulation, and waterproofing systems for commercial projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to assess materials, labor, and time requirements.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data for accurate bids.
• Ensure estimates reflect the scope of work, product selections, and overall project requirements.
• Perform takeoffs and provide labor, material, and overhead costs for bids.
• Assist in the negotiation process with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Track and manage bid schedules to ensure timely submission.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and project reviews as necessary.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and technologies related to air barrier, spray foam, and waterproofing systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the commercial construction industry, specifically with air barriers, spray foam insulation, and waterproofing.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques, particularly related to air barrier and insulation systems.
• Proficient in estimating software and tools (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate and thorough estimates.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
