Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Business Data Analyst to support Nuveens (TIAAs Asset Management Subsidiary) Real Estate Assets team. This team oversees $150B+ in real estate assets, including office and industrial properties. The analyst will work closely with asset managers and operations leaders to develop and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide visibility into asset performance, occupancy trends, revenue vs. budget, and lease renewals.
The role is focused on dashboard creation, reporting, and data governance, with a strong emphasis on self-sufficiency in Tableau.

Responsibilities:
Design, update, and maintain Tableau dashboards for asset-level insights
Ensure dashboards are refreshed daily and aligned with data warehouse feeds
Perform data validations, reconciliations, and root cause analysis for data quality issues
Support data governance initiatives, including documentation and stakeholder alignment
Collaborate with business and tech teams to define business terms and quality rules
Provide support for internal/external reporting, audits, and compliance
Troubleshoot issues related to dashboard performance and data connectivity

Experience with Python and Microsoft Copilot
Background in asset management or financial services
Familiarity with Dealpath or similar asset tracking systems
2 years of experience developing, updating, and maintaining Tableau Dashboards
Experience with SQL (writing queries, transformations)
Familiarity with ETL workflows and data warehouse environments (e. g., Snowflake)
Strong understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
Ability to troubleshoot dashboard/report issues
Strong Communication, Low Ego
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and engaging with stakeholders across asset management and operations
