Full Job Description

We are looking for an Box Truck Driver - No CDL Required to join our Team!! You will be responsible for safely operating a box truck with a capacity of a maximum of 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

- Driver must be able to work OTR; Driver should be able to drive OTR for two to three weeks at a time.

- Possible Increase after 60 days based on performance.

Cargo Transport Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants, retail, and distribution centers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Moving Company Responsibilities:

•   Cargo Transport Responsibilities are included here
• Must be able to assist with moving furniture out of homes or out of storage units 
• Need to be able to use dollies and other moving equipment to manage furniture. 
• Should be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to load a truck correctly.

Skills and Requirements

• At least 3 years experience required
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD, etc...)
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No moving or driving violations in past 3 years. No accidents in past 5 years.
• DOT Medical Card
• Own a Smart phone with reliable service provider
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid Driving license (CDL NOT REQUIRED)

Rate of Pay Depends on whether you are doing a Moving Job or Other The Road cargo shipment.
