Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Full Charged Bookkeeper to lead all day-to-day financial operations for the company. This position will be responsible for maintaining all company A/P and A/R activity, handling inventory budget and reconciliations, and providing ad hoc financial reporting to the CEO. Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage all day-to-day accounting activities in QuickBooks Online, including entering vendor invoices, applying operational expenses, and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts following guidance from external accounting consultants and ensuring full accuracy and GAAP compliance.
  • Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, verifying vendor pricing and maintaining up-to-date records of bills, credits and payments.
  • Review bi-weekly payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring compliance with internal policies and payroll tax requirements.
  • Reconcile inventory values in QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate cost accounting.
  • Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and other management reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Organize and categorize transactions involving multiple business entities and LLCs.
  • Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and organized for internal and external reporting.
  • Provide ongoing weekly reporting and status updates.
  • Maintain complete discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.


Requirements:
  • 6+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a startup environment
  • Fundamental understanding of inventory-related accounting concepts, including cost of goods, chargebacks and other associated reconciliations
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and comfort with complex tech stack integrations
  • Ability to execute independently with a strong attention to detail
  • Pay range for this position: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year - a final offer will be based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria
