We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support our clients' daily operations across two affordable housing communities in the Denver metro area. This is a hands-on role for someone wanting to grow and expand their career with a dynamic team.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager:
- Greet guests professionally and promptly in the leasing office.
- Show apartments and guide applicants through the leasing process.
- Review rental applications and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Coordinate move-ins with leasing and maintenance teams.
- Submit resident files for compliance approval (HOME, HUD, CHFA).
- Provide lease orientations and explain community rules and services.
- Enter guest card data and traffic reports in Yardi Voyager.
- Create, distribute, and follow up on maintenance work orders.
- Answer calls professionally and provide requested information.
- Maintain housing forms and distribute resident notices.
- Assist the Community Manager with filing and documentation.
Assistant Property Manager Qualifications:
- Experience working in an apartment leasing office.
- Proficiency with Yardi Voyager property management software.
- Knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit certification/recertification.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and housing regulations.
- Ability to work in a busy office with frequent interruptions.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with multicultural populations.
- Flexibility to work at two different communities as needed.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Support resident engagement and quarterly community events.
- Participate in fundraising and outreach initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
