Robert Tylisz Appliance LaPorte is looking for a skilled store manager to oversee daily store operations, including managing staff, controlling inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction to drive sales and profitability. Key responsibilities involve implementing corporate strategies, maintaining showrooms, and resolving customer issues. This location rebuilds appliances so extensive knowledge in repairing appliances. The role requires strong leadership, excellent customer service, and deep product knowledge of appliance repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Staff Management :

Manage rebuilding appliance shop personnel and sales staff to ensure adequate staffing and quality service.

• Customer Service :

Oversee customer satisfaction, handle inquiries and complaints, and ensure a positive experience from sale to delivery and installation.

• Inventory & Merchandising :

Manage inventory levels, ensure showrooms are well-stocked and organized, and oversee product display and pricing. Maintain inventory for appliance parts for resale and parts for the rebuild appliances. Update computer records to accurately reflect parts used and type of repair/rebuild service provided.

• Operations :

Supervise daily store operations and repair shop, maintain operational and organizational standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Required Skills

• Leadership : Ability to motivate, lead, and retain a team of employees.
• Customer Service : Strong ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues effectively.
• Product Knowledge : In-depth understanding of appliance products, and extensive knowledge in repairing appliances.
• Organizational Skills : Ability to manage inventory, merchandise, and daily operations efficiently.

Qualifications

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel and occasionally list and move up to 50lbs. May be required to list up to 100lbs on occasion.

Valid Drivers License with clean record.

Must be at least 18 years old.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS
