We are looking for an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Manager to lead and oversee the accounts payable operations within our organization. In this role, you will manage a team of professionals, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. This is a long-term contract position based in Los Angeles, California, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial processes and operations.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and mentor the accounts payable team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including invoice management, payment processing, and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and control measures.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize accounts payable processes, including identifying opportunities for automation.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to maintain strong working relationships.
• Prepare and review accounts payable reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead audits related to accounts payable, ensuring proper documentation and support for financial reviews.
• Negotiate payment terms with vendors to achieve favorable outcomes and improve cash flow management.
• Work closely with other finance functions, such as Treasury and Tax, to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounts payable or finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale accounts payable operations within complex organizations.
• Proficiency in financial software systems, such as Oracle Fusion or similar platforms.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
