Position Summary

The Quality Intern serves hands-on, real-world tasks and projects that will have a direct impact on the ongoing growth of Oceaneering. This position is full-time hybrid, and the applicant must be able to work in the Hanover, Maryland office at least three days a week.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assist in transitioning to new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and testing new ways to fully utilize our new ERP system.
  • Develop training materials for new ERP.
  • Develop new Inspection Plans supporting Production.
  • Perform data analysis on nonconformance data to highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency while reducing errors.
  • Collaborate with Projects on root cause analysis investigations.
  • Support Supplier Quality initiatives.
  • Monitor process metrics and facilitate corrective actions.
  • Complete other quality control and quality assurance projects as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Current enrollment in accredited college or university pursing a degree. Applicants should be completing their sophomore or junior year.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
